John H. DeLoach, CPA is the Managing Director of DeLoach, Barber & Caspers, P.C. He has been in public accounting since 1969. His responsibilities consist of overseeing the audit of governmental agencies and the tax functions of the firm as well as providing extensive consulting and management advisory services for our clients. John frequently assists clients with critical business matters such as succession planning and estate planning.
John has helped many clients with important issues such as entity structuring for new businesses, financing, litigation support, contract negotiations and business mergers and acquisition.
S. Wayne Barber II, CPA is a Director with DeLoach, Barber & Caspers, P.C. Wayne has been with the firm since 1996 when he graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He was admitted as shareholder in 2002.
Wayne's primary areas of concentration involve assurance (audit, review and compilation) services and tax services for Governmental Entities, Not-For-Profits, C-corporations, S-corporations, and LLCs. He is very experienced with helping clients set up, implement and troubleshoot Quickbooks and other accounting software. He often works with clients to help establish and maintain internal controls, policies and procedures, and budgetary procedures. Wayne also works with numerous individual clients in tax planning and tax return preparation.
Wayne is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
John E. Caspers MBA, CPA is a Director with DeLoach, Barber & Caspers, P.C. He has been with the firm since 1996 when he retired after 23 years with the Internal Revenue Service, Birmingham District Examination Division. His responsibilities include tax research and planning, tax return preparation, and client representation before tax authorities, as well as supervision of professional staff members in all areas of accounting and tax. John is also available on a consulting basis for tax representation and dealing with the IRS.
